Benchmark International advises on the sale of Umbrella Loans Limited

Benchmark International is delighted to announce the completion of a deal which will see payday loan company, Gentis Group holdings, trading as Umbrella Loans Limited, acquired by a major player within the debt management industry.

The acquisition of Bolton-based Umbrella Loans Limited will grant the acquirer a strong foothold within the payday loan industry and diversify the company’s service offering.

Following the shareholders decision to sell the company in September 2012, Umbrella Loans Limited was brought to market by Benchmark International that same month. The company attracted a great deal of attention with 32 interested parties and 2 firm offers.

The deal completed on 25th March 2013 and Benchmark International would like to thank all the parties involved and wish them the very best for the future.
