Benchmark International has successfully advised the shareholders of J C Kellett (Development) Limited on the 100% sale of the company to Britdoors Group Limited for an undisclosed sum which equates to 6.5x the company’s EBITDA.
Founded in 1830 as JC Kellett & Sons based in Leicester, the company is a bespoke manufacturer of timber doors. The company has been owned and managed by the Kellett family since it’s inception.
The acquirer, Britdoors Group Limited designs, manufactures and retails entrance doors, including glass-reinforced polyester (GRP) and thermoplastic composite doors.
