True Lens Services acquired by Procam

Benchmark International has advised on the successful sale of True Lens Services Ltd to Procam Television Holdings Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 2001, Leicester-based True Lens Services specialises in the service and repair of high-end lenses for motion picture and video, in addition to renowned precision engineering capabilities supporting the film and television industries in the UK and overseas.

The acquirer, London-based Procam, has been established for 25 years, delivering kit and crew to many of the largest broadcasting companies, production houses and blue chip organisations throughout the UK and internationally.

Employing over 100 crew members and technitions, Procam is the UK’s largest broadcast hire facility. The Company is backed by venture capital fund Foresight, which aims to expand sales to £20m within three years.
