International M&A specialist, Benchmark International, has successfully negotiated the sale of Omega Technology Solutions to publically-traded Certive Solutions Inc.

Omega Technology Solutions, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a revenue cycle software solutions and consulting firm for the healthcare industry. The company has over 20 years of experience implementing revenue recovery projects and enhancing the financial stability of their customers in the healthcare industry.

Certive Solutions Inc provides revenue cycle management solutions to the U.S. health care market. Certive Solutions Inc services include audit and recovery services, billing services, and software solutions to help providers work with payers to efficiently manage the reimbursement process and improve financial performance. At the time of acquisition, the company had locations in Vancouver, British Columbia and Scottsdale, Arizona.

The purchase price was reported at $2,500,000 which consisted of cash at close, subscription receipts for Omegas in the private placement, a convertible promissory note, and preferred shares of Certive Solutions. Omega’s management team unanimously agreed that the acquisition will allow them to expand their service offerings to their customer base. Certive Solutions’ CEO commented that the acquisition allows them to continue to grow within the revenue cycles solutions field in the US health care sector.
