Benchmark International is delighted to announce the sale of Cumberland Platforms Limited (CPL) to GELEV Group, trading as KLUBB.

CPL is a bespoke developer of vehicle mounted access platforms, particularly specialising in off-road mobile elevating work platforms for clients in the utility sector. The company also designs, manufactures and maintains all types of access equipment, vehicle conversions and tipper chipper vehicles.

KLUBB has had 15 years of industry experience and expertise, developing to become one of Europe's most successful vehicle mounted aerial platform companies. KLUBB is the company’s own innovative range which offers an extensive range comprising 10 models to cater for all manner of vehicles.

As KLUBB is a major supplier to CPL, the acquisition allows for the growth of the group and helps it to secure a foothold into the UK market. KLUBB claims to have produced over 1,200 platforms in 2017 and is forecasting 1,400 units a year with the acquisition of CPL, with 20 percent organic growth.
