Benchmark International has advised on the successful sale of PpTek Ltd to Parker Hannifin for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Yapton, West Sussex, UK. PpTek are the leader in the provision of Siloxanes removal solutions having almost 100 installations World Wide.

Employing approximately 57,000 people across 50 countries and with annual sales exceeding $13 billion in the fiscal year 2014, Parker Hannifn is the world’s leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, providing precision-engineered solutions for a variety of mobile, industrial and aerospace markets.

The combination of PpTek, with its technology in Siloxanes Removal, and Parker Hannifin’s products and capabilities in filtration and water removal, forms a powerful capability and offering in the Biogas and Landfill Gas conditioning market. The combined capabilities of PpTek and Parker Hannifin will provide customers with a comprehensive solution to the conditioning of gas used for Combined Heat and Power, Gas to Grid, Gas to Vehicle and Anaerobic Digestion installations.

Bill Cowling, Commercial Director at PpTek and the rest of the team will continue at the Yapton base to provide service and technical support for existing systems and look forward to developing service support for the wider Biogas market.
