Benchmark International has advised on the successful sale of Border Group, comprising Border (Disposable) Products Ltd and Lanes Garage (Ystrad Mynack) Ltd (trading as GTP Border Forest and Border Forest Products, respectively) to Premier Forest Group for an undisclosed sum.
Based in Newport, Gwent, GTP Border Forest manufactures all varieties of treated and untreated fencing and packaging wood. Border Forest Products is a major supplier of woodchip and bark products to customers across the UK, in addition to biomass fuel to the emerging renewable energy sector.
Also based in Newport, Premier Forest Group (trading as Premier Forest Products) is one of the UK’s leading independent importers and distributors of timber and panel products.
