Benchmark International has advised on the successful sale of The Canopy Company Limited (The Canopy Company) to Acme Facilities Group Limited (Acme Group) for an undisclosed sum.
Based in Burnley, North West England, The Canopy Company was established in 2001 and manufactures high quality stainless steel extraction canopies, predominantly for the catering service industry. The company also offers specialty and general fabrication services.
Blackburn-based Acme Group supplies, installs and maintains commercial catering equipment, in addition to providing refrigeration, HVAC, fabrication and kitchen design services for a wide range of industries such as education, hospitality, retail and leisure, healthcare and the public sector.
On completion of the deal, Sean Routh, Director of The Canopy Company, said, “Despite generating a number of interested parties, Benchmark International found the perfect acquirer within the first month of marketing the company.
