Benchmark International is pleased to announce the successful sale of Rembrand Builders Merchants Limited to Rembrand Timber Limited.
Dundee-based Rembrand Builders Merchants is an independent builders merchants, founded in 1967, supplying timber, ceramic tiles and landscaping products to both the building trade and the general public.
Rembrand Timber is a family owned and managed business, established in 1982. Over a 30 year period, the company has added 19 sites across Scotland to its original trading premises.
The Managing Director of Rembrand Builders Merchants commented, “Although there has been no formal links between the companies since 2003, sharing the same name has often led to some confusion and we are sure this development will be a benefit to both companies.
Rembrand Builders Merchants will continue to trade in its own right as a subsidiary of Rembrand Timber. We will continue to provide a quality service, competitive pricing and excellent stock availability to both retail and trade customers, operating a delivery service to locations in Tayside, Fife and Perthshire.”
