Benchmark International is pleased to announce the transaction between Chustz Surveying, a Louisiana-Based Surveying Company, and GIS Engineering, a professional service firm across five locations in Louisiana.
Based in New Roads, LA, Chustz Surveying, LLC. is an industry leader in aerial and hydrographic surveying, with more than 27 years of servicing the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the Federal sector and other commercial, state, and local clients. Since its inception in 1995, Chustz has continued to grow through hard work and client satisfaction. Chustz began with only a pickup truck and a single boat, providing surveying and mapping services as a subcontractor on a New Orleans district project. From then on, they have invested in the most knowledgeable and qualified employees, along with state-of-the-art technology, to ensure the highest caliber of service. This has allowed the team to expand into other surveying areas, including hydrographic surveying, sUAS (unmanned aerial systems), GPS surveying, single-beam technology, multi-beam technology, and LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) acquisition.
GIS Engineering, LLC (GIS), a subsidiary of GIS Holdings, LLC, is a professional service firm providing planning, engineering, design, surveying, and construction management services in the Coastal, Commercial, Environmental, Industrial, and Transportation markets. With more than 115 employees across five offices in Louisiana, the firm continues to close in on its vision of being The Professional Service Provider of Choice. Their integrated project teams collaborate across geographies and disciplines, providing supreme innovation and timely, cost-effective results to our public and private sector clients. They live by their mission of Delivering superior services that exceed client and community expectations through responsive, empowered employees. They are rapidly growing our resources, our capabilities, and our footprint.
The addition of the Chustz team will increase the corporate headcount by 40 employees, with Louisiana-based offices located in New Roads and New Orleans, along with support from all 13 other GIS facilities in Louisiana and Texas.
