Benchmark International Named Best Global Middle-market M&a Specialists 2023

Benchmark International has been named Best Global Middle-Market M&A Specialists by the Global 100 for 2023. We are proud to say that we also won this award in 2022.

The Global 100 consists of only 100 of the world’s leading firms and individuals, with votes received from global readers in more than 163 countries on six continents worldwide. The purpose of the Global 100 is to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of the firms that are truly leaders within their chosen areas of specialization. The awards are conducted by EMG Publishing, a world-renowned publishing house that administers some of the world’s most coveted awards programs.

By highlighting and publicizing the accomplishments of business leaders and professionals, the Global 100 aims to inform and inspire its readers, which include more than 293,000 CEOs, CFOs, and legal, accounting, and media professionals, among others.

The annual awards program sets the benchmark for the most distinguished industry leaders, highest-caliber teams, and exemplary organizations based on criteria that include complexity, strategy, and innovation. In each award category, a final five nominees are shortlisted, who are then reviewed against unique selection criteria using a proprietary process that is not industry-specific. The judges assessed the following considerations:

The strategic nature of the work conducted
The complexity of the work conducted
The scale of work conducted
Whether the work conducted was done so in a speedy manner and within budget
Any ground-breaking or innovative processes used during the completion of conducted work

The judges were also asked to focus strongly on the complexity and strategic significance of the work conducted. It is a requirement for all of their award winners to receive no less than 24% of votes from the global readership, currently in excess of 376,000.
