Tampa-based, full-service data quality, data management and business intelligence provider, DataMentors LLC (www.datamentors.com), has received investment from Wakefield, MA-based private equity firm Brook Venture Partners (www.brookventure.com), along with co-investors Bay Capital (www.baycapllc.com) of Providence, RI and Ride’s Crossing Capital (www.pridescrossingcapital.com) of Wakefield, MA.

DataMentors’ CEO, Bob Orf, will continue in his role and will be joined by Anders Ekman as president, former managing partner of data marketing company Attain Group, which is to merge with the Company.

DataMentors specializes in the provision of data management, data quality and business intelligence services typically to clients in the banking, healthcare, and retail industries among others. The Company holds an exceptional reputation in the data management field and has been named in the highly competitive Gartner Magic Quadrant seven years in a row for data quality excellence.

Brook Venture Partners is renowned for stimulating growth and driving sales and marketing development within its portfolio of companies, with primary focus on profitable companies within Information Technology and Healthcare IT sectors, with investments typically under $10 million.
