Benchmark International is pleased to announce it has been shortlisted for three awards, two at the Insider Dealmaker Awards and one at the Mergermarket M&A Awards 2023. The winners will be announced on the 12th October and 28th November respectively.

Acquisition of Macro Works by APEM
Benchmark International Cork worked on behalf of Macro Works, an environmental consultant specialising in landscape and visual impact assessment for planning permission. This sector is growing in Ireland and the services Macro Works offers are an essential part of the planning process.
A niche industry, the team found many high-quality buyers with serious interest in the sector.
Mid-Market Corporate Finance Team of the Year, Insider Dealmaker Awards
The Benchmark International Manchester Corporate Finance Team has been shortlisted for its work on deals such as the sale of James Hamilton Group Limited to Zeus Packaging Limited and the sale of Gottlieb Packaging Materials Limited to MacFarlane Group plc, amongst others. An unprecedented year for the team, it has achieved several growth records in comparison with previous review periods.
The Insider Dealmaker Awards is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of leading corporate financiers, accountants, bankers, funders, lawyers, and M&A professionals. This will be the 29th annual awards and is the biggest date in the region’s professional services calendar.
Benchmark International has also been nominated for Ireland Financial Advisor of the Year at the Mergermarket M&A Awards 2023 – Europe.
Mergermarket is the leading provider of M&A data and intelligence, and the nominations are based on Mergermarket league table analysis with the top firms by volume, top by value, plus the highest-ranking local adviser(s) for the country categories shortlisted. These candidates are then invited to provide their submissions for the awards.
Finally, the expert panel of judges review these submissions and choose the winners. With only one winner per category, an M&A Award from Mergermarket is true recognition of the best in the M&A field.
