Benchmark International Successfully Facilitated the Transaction Between Old Mill Confectionery Limited and MFC Foods Limited

Benchmark International is pleased to announce the acquisition of Old Mill by MFC Foods (t/a Dessert First).

With a 40-year history in Cork, over 400 customers and a dedicated staff of 38, the Old Mill is a cherished institution renowned for its fresh cream and ambient cakes.

Dessert First is a bakery based in Waterford providing a wide range of baked, sweet and savoury goods for sale into local retail and national food-service outlets.

The aim of the acquisition is to expand the Old Mill brand nationwide and create further employment in Cork.

This marks the second acquisition in 12 months by Dessert First.
