The Litson Group, consisting of Litson & Associates and Litson & Associates Risk Management Services (Litson), is a specialist aviation safety advisory business whose offering includes safety reviews of airlines and charter aircraft operators. Its offering also includes aircraft, airfield and helideck inspections, aviation personnel training programmes, and a suite of proprietary software products dealing with safety and operations management, audit reporting, online training, and tender management.

The ultimate acquiring group also operates in the aviation sector. With many synergies between the two companies, Litson’s software development branch of the company was of particular interest to the buyer.
